K. LAZ WINE COLLECTION, a beautifully appointed Tasting Room and Retail Shop from former DEAN & DELUCA Wine Director and industry insider Kerrin Laz, is located in Yountville, CA. One of Napa Valley’s most beloved wine personalities and trusted consultants, Kerrin has made her collection of more than 500 wine labels – including some of the most coveted and hard-to-come-by bottles and her favorite undiscovered gems – available to the public for tastings and for purchase at her tasting room. Since opening in Fall 2015, K. LAZ WINE COLLECTION is now one of Napa Valley’s top wine destinations.
During her 12 years tasting, sourcing, and bringing to market the best wines for DEAN & DELUCA, Kerrin has established personal relationships with nearly every California winemaker worth knowing, and has garnered a reputation as a leading authority on wines in the region. Kerrin has developed a loyal following of discerning wine connoisseurs and has built collections for some of the country’s top CEOs, celebrities, athletes, and other influencers. Her ability to secure limited allocations from cult labels such as Screaming Eagle, Abreu Vineyards, Bryant Estate, Eisele Vineyards and Kinsman Eades (which all have waitlists just to get on the mailing lists) makes K. LAZ the only place in Napa Valley – and possibly the country – where guests can freely taste these labels in one sitting without the high cost of purchasing full bottles.
Kerrin also launched her own wine brand, LAZ Wine with the help of her winemaker, Celia Welch, with 2014 being their inaugural vintage. She is also the founder of the non-profit, Inspire Napa Valley, which raises funds and awareness of Alzheimer’s and dementia in the wine community and for guests throughout the country with a 3-day weekend in Spring and one-day event in December. Since its inception in 2018, Inspire Napa Valley has raised over $4 million to support the cause.
K. LAZ WINE COLLECTION has been introduced to avid wine enthusiasts through rave reviews in The Wall Street Journal, Departures, Forbes, Food & Wine Magazine, Wine Enthusiast, SF Chronicle, Architectural Digest, InStyle, 7×7, EaterSF, Napa/Sonoma Magazine, San Francisco Magazine, Wine Business Monthly, SOMM Journal and Napa Valley Register. While Kerrin loves the media attention that has been given to her endeavors, most important to her is the feedback and referrals through word of mouth from countless clients, guests, colleagues, and vintners.
