Located in Greensboro, NC, Machete is a New American restaurant helmed by Executive Chef/Co-Founder Kevin Cottrell and guided by the belief that food should inspire delight. Modern global plates and exciting cocktail and wine pairings are executed exactingly but without pretense and served with a healthy dose of playfulness, humor, and nostalgia.
MACHETE comes by this casual, communal sensibility naturally, having been founded among friends in 2018 as a popup, at-home supper club. In February 2020, the restaurant opened its doors in downtown Greensboro, where it continues to serve a seasonal but never dogmatic menu and maintain the motto that patrons are not customers but guests. Ingredients may be sourced from the farm down the street or from across the globe, all in the name of creating distinctive, delicious, and beautiful food and drink.
